Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event, and the right photographs can help keep your memories alive forever. Memories that can be cherished, and shared.
Most weddings involve a huge number of photographs. It's not uncommon to take 1,000-1,500 photographs for a single wedding. However, most people find the prospect of going through 1,500 photographs to be completely overwhelming. After your wedding, I carefully edit and sort your photographs. Then I narrow them down to the very best selection that captures the events of the day. This usually results in 300-600 images. As you review your photographs, should you find that certain images you expected are missing, just let me know. All original files are kept for at least one year, and I'll be happy to review the originals again to search for anything you missed.
There is no clear cut answer to how far in advance to make your booking. Like any of the service providers and venues you will be reserving for your wedding, the sooner the better. Once we have signed a contract and your deposit is paid, your date is guaranteed.
How you receive your images is up to you. For all weddings, your photographs will be available to view or purchase through a personal web gallery. Your gallery can be password protected so that only you can see, or made public for easy sharing and viewing by all your friends and family. From your gallery, you can purchase all manner of prints from mini-wallets to 24”x36” prints, custom framing, personalized Thank-You cards, and a wide selection of gifts and memorabilia.
If you prefer digital files to print and share on your own, Photo DVD's and digital downloads are available for purchase as well.
The cost for wedding photography can vary based on the size, and location, as well as a number of other factors. Most weddings will run between $800 for a very basic wedding, and $1200 for a full service wedding, including pre-wedding consultation, engagement photo shoot, and up to 10 hours on your wedding day.
I don't offer fixed pricing for weddings, because the size, time-frame and location of your wedding all have an effect on the amount of work involved. The best way to begin, is to email or call to schedule a face-to-face consultation. There's no charge, no high-pressure sales, and it can help you to decide exactly what you want on your wedding day.
